The Greene County Farm Bureau may award up to two $1500 scholarships for the 2020-2021 academic year. The scholarship recipients will be recognized at the Greene County Farm Bureau 2021 Annual Meeting to be held in August.
Recipients selected will be from applications that meet the mandatory criteria. A scholarship selection committee, appointed by the Greene County Farm Bureau board of trustees, will evaluate the scholarship applications and present their recommendations for the awards to the board for approval. From the applications deemed valid, the committee will evaluate each candidate’s academic performance, agricultural involvement and activities.
The purpose of the scholarship program is:
Financial need does not enter into the selection process, and financial information is not requested for the scholarship application. Apply by March 29, 2020. Interview will be held on April 3, 2021.
