On Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27, Belmont County Farm Bureau and the community packaged 150,000 meals for their county school backpack program. That will be enough macaroni and cheese and apple cinnamon oatmeal meals to supply Barnesville, Union Local, Saint Clairsville, and Bellaire school districts for two years.
We would like to thank the community of Belmont County for coming and helping package meals. We would like to thank our donors for making the event possible; without all of you, our event wouldn’t have been a success.
Our next packing event will be Saturday, Nov. 20 and Sunday, Nov. 21 of this year back at The Rock Gymnasium. On Saturday we will be starting at 12 p.m. and on Sunday we will be starting at 1 p.m. We hope to see you all there!
The guide includes a farm driver checklist, overview of state and federal regulations and exemptions, CDL qualifications and more.
