The Ohio Valley Career and Technical Centers FFA Dairy Judging Team earned the opportunity and recently traveled to the All American Dairy Judging Contest in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania! Team members are Ryan Shoemaker, Ty McClanahan, Abbagale Doss and Mitchell Ohnewehr.
Adams County Farm Bureau and county board of trustees are proud to support these amazing young people as they represented Ohio at the All American Dairy Judging contest in Harrisburg.
The team came in 2nd in the Guernsey judging division and 4th place in the Holstein division. The team came in 3rd overall in the oral reasons competition. Mitchell Ohnewehr was the 10th placed individual overall. Ryan Shoemaker was 3rd overall in oral reasons while placing 1st in oral reasons for the Jersey and Guernsey divisions.
Again, congratulations to the OVCTC FFA Dairy Judging Team on their success at this national competition!
