Local safety training enhances agricultural workers’ well-being

Highland County Farm Bureau has funds available to provide at least one $1,000 scholarship and at least one $500 scholarship to a 2023 Highland County graduating senior who will be entering a two- or four-year college or technical school and majoring in agriculture. A $500 scholarship may also be awarded to a student currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or technical school with a major in agriculture.
Parents (or applicant) must be a member of Highland County Farm Bureau. Applicant must answer the questions completely and the application must be completed by the applicant.
Applications can be obtained through local high schools’ guidance counselors offices. To obtain a scholarship, applicants must send a completed application, a copy of their high school transcript and a wallet-size photo to the Highland County Farm Bureau, PO Box 288, Georgetown, OH 45121. All applications must be received by 4 p.m., March 23, 2023.
