“My daughter is a member of the Rascal Flatts fan club and as a result is entitled to discounted concert tickets. For her 16th birthday my son suggested we attend their concert at Nissan Pavilion near Washington, DC. I went online to Priceline and got a really good deal on two nights at a hotel in Virginia. A few days later I was talking to Pearle in our Farm Bureau office about our trip and she asked me if I used the Choice Hotel discount for Ohio Farm Bureau members. I checked it out and discovered the $69.95 per night Priceline rate was higher and it would only cost $55.99 per night using the Farm Bureau discount at the same hotel! I thought 'We can save about $14 per night........times two nights is $28.....if we stay three nights we could save $42.' I canceled the Priceline charge and booked the same motel for three nights. We had a great time and the savings on this one trip was over two thirds the cost of our membership!”
