The Athens County Farm Bureau recently made a donation to the Athens County Dog Shelter. The board members felt that it was important to give to an organization that gives so much love to these animals. The Athens County Farm Bureau recently held it's Ag Day at the Fair Grounds. This year they had over 600 4th grade students from Athens County. This event is free to the students. There is no cost involved. The Farm Bureau does however as for a donation of one canned food item to donate to the local food pantry.
