Did you know that dairy cows are milked 2-3 times a day? We only milk our cows 2 times daily. Each cow can produce on an average of 2,200 gallons of milk each year or about 7 gallons or more each day! Hello everyone! We are the Herb and Sarah Summe family from Morgan Township. We  own and operate a family dairy farm. The family farm is owned by Herb's parents, Carl and Sarah Summe. They started the farm around 40 years ago by only milking a handful of cows.
