Clermont County Farm Bureau offers scholarships

Clermont County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce the availability of funds to award up to five (5) $1,000 scholarships.
Applicants must be a 2013 Clermont County graduating senior who will be attending an institution of higher education and must major in an agricultural field.
Science and Chemistry or Vocational Agriculture education major will also be considered.
Preference will be given to agriculture, animal science, horticulture, science and chemistry majors, and education majors specializing the above areas of study.
Consideration will be given for extracurricular activities and community involvement.
The selected scholarship winners must submit proof of attendance at an institution of higher learning with grades showing a 2.5 average for the first quarter/semester and must provide proof of entrollment for second semester/quarter.
Applications are available from all Clermont County high school guidance counselors and/or Vo Ag instructors, the Farm Bureau office and are posted here and on Facebook. Applications must be received in the Farm Bureau office by Thursday, March 28, 2013.
