Published May. 3, 2010 | Discuss this article on Facebook

(Cleveland, Ohio)  Those who think farming only takes place far beyond the city limits can read the latest issue of Our Ohio magazine.  Vintage Alpacas and Rosby Companies are featured in this month’s issue of the magazine that explores Ohio through the faces and places that connect the state’s past, present and future.

Readers will learn how Vintage Alpacas owner Kim Rassi got started managing a 12-acre farm located 5 miles from the heart of downtown Cleveland.  “People are shocked when I tell them that I raise alpacas just outside Cleveland.  When they come to see my operation, their jaws drop,” Rassi said.

Neighbor to Vintage Alpacas, the Rosby Companies has 70 acres of land dedicated to providing a full-service garden center, berry farm, recycling center and mulch and soil products.
