Pipeline Easement Issues Discussed

From the oil patch to city streets, over 10,000 miles of pipeline construction are expected in the next decade. These include interstate, intrastate, oil and gas collection, and public utility service lines throughout Ohio.Ohio Farm Bureau Director of Energy Policy Dale Arnold presented Pipeline Easement Issues during an online meeting held Wednesday, March 20 .  Information about  new rules governing construction, operations and enforcement, as well as eminent domain provisions was presented.   Arnold also discussed what landowners should consider as they negotiate pipeline easement agreements.
