2013 Scholarships Awarded

Each year, Erie County Farm Bureau awards general and ag-related scholarships to graduating seniors and continuing education scholarships to college students.  These scholarships were recently awarded to six deserving individuals.

Megan McNulty, daughter of Michael & Elaine McNulty of Huron; a 2013 graduate of Huron High School, Daniel Stelzer and Nicholas Stelzer, sons David & Christine Stelzer and 2013 graduates of Huron High School were all recipients of an Erie County Farm Bureau General $600 Scholarship.  Megan plans to attend Xavier University to become an occupational therapist.  Daniel plans to attend Ohio University and study environmental biology.  Nicholas plans to attend the University of Cincinnati to study mechanical engineering. 

Jessica Stacy, daughter of Mark & Mary Stacy of Castalia; a 2013 graduate Margaretta High School was awarded an Erie County Farm Bureau $750 Agriculturally Related Scholarship.  Jessica plans to attend The Ohio State University to study food science and technologies.  

Emily Bailey, daughter of Lisa & Mark Bailey of Sandusky; and Zoe Gastier, daughter of Mike & Kathy Gastier of Milan; were both recipients of an Erie County Farm Bureau $750 Continuing Education Scholarship.  Emily is attending The Ohio State University ATI and studying floral design and marketing, and landscape management.  Zoe is attending Bowling Green State University and studying early childhood education.
