Announcing the 1st Annual Farm to Fork Dinner - August 15 - NEW DATE & PRICE!

Highland County Farm Bureau is hosting its first ever Farm to Fork Dinner at 7 PM, August 15, 2014, at the home of Tim and Karen Sheeley. The Farm to Fork Program is a dinner on the farm to enhance awareness of agricultural food production by bringing the city to the farm to share a meal consisting entirely of locally grown farm products. 

Guests to the dinner are given the opportunity to see the farms’ livestock and facilities, all while enjoying fellowship with others over a meal prepared with local meats and vegetables.

Dinner tickets are $30/person or $50/couple (you can just bring a friend if you are not a couple!). Proceeds from the dinner go toward buying canned goods for local food pantries and investing in the “child hunger ends here” program promoted by country superstar Hunter Hayes. Every canned good that we purchase buys one meal for a child somewhere in the USA. Imagine what we can do!
