Fall Farm Tour Set for Sept. 24

The Lorain County Farm Bureau will sponsor a Fall Farm Tour Saturday, Sept. 24 from noon until 5 p.m.  There will be five great stops on this drive-it-yourself tour:

- Dovin Dairy Farms, 15967 St. Rt. 58, Oberlin

- Criation Station Alpaca Farm, 13790 Quarry Rd., Oberlin

- Apple Jack Farm (horses), 12265 Oberlin Rd., Oberlin

- Burrer Farms, 9908 Oberlin Rd., Elyria

- Grobe Fruit Farm, 43875 Telegraph Rd. (St. Rt. 113), Elyria

The tour can be started at any of these stops and brochures will be available with information and a map at each stop.  Ohio State University Extension and Farm Credit Services of Mid-America will both have informational displays at the Burrer Farms location.  For those that visit all five stops and complete the door prize card there will be several prizes for children and adults given away after the tour.  Come and enjoy the value-added agriculture that Lorain County has to offer!
