Scholarship Winners Announced

Forrest Black son of Jerry and Linda Black of Union, is the first $1,500 scholarship winner. Black is a 2012 Milton Union graduate and attends Wright State and majors in athletic training. He has a goal of owning and operating his own business in the future. Congratulations Forrest!

The second $1,500 recipient is Ellie Kozarec son of Mark Kozarec of Germantown and Mary Bennett also of Germantown. She is a 2013 graduate of Valley View High School and will be attending Eastern Kentucky University. Ellie will be pursuing her nursing degree. Ellie has been involved in 4-H and currently is serving as President of her 4-H club. Ellie is a volunteer with our Kiddie Tractor pulls at the fair every year.  Way to go Ellie!

The third $1,500 scholarship winner is Niles McGuire son of Brian and Theresa McGuire of Germantown. McGuire is a 2012 Valley View graduate and attends Wilmington College and majors in ag business. Niles has been involved in Farm Bureau as a volunteer for several years. Niles was a member of 4-H for many years. Niles is also one of our fair volunteers. He helps yearly with the Kiddie Tractor pull and barn games. Way to go Niles!

Katheryn Simon, daughter of Tracy Simon of Brookville, is the final $1,500 recipient. She is a 2013 graduate of Brookville High school and will be attending Ohio State University and major in business administration. Katheryn has been an attendee to several of our youth leadership camps, including Higher Ground and Jr. High Quest. Congratulations Katheryn.
