2014 Ottawa County Scholarship Recipients

Each year the Ottawa County Farm Bureau offers several scholarships. This years recipients include: Noah Cross awarded $500 Scholarship—Noah is the son of Scott and Melissa Cross from Port Clinton.  He is a senior at Port Clinton High School where he has been involved with many school activities both scholastic and sports.  Noah plans to study Pharmacy at Butler College in the fall with the goal o...

AFBF Book of the Year - 2014

The American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture presented its seventh annual “Book of the Year” award to Laurie Krebs for “The Beeman.” “The Beeman is full of essential facts about bees, beekeeping and –of course!-honey. Drew Hastings to be Guest Speaker at Annual Meeting

Save the date! Lucas/Ottawa/Sandusky/Wood County Farm Bureau will host a combined Annual Meeting Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at the Jr. Fair Building, Bowling Green at 6 PM. In Celebration of Ottawa County Fair's 50 Years

Ottawa County Farm Bureau will be hosting an Antique Tractor Display and "Tractor  Games". Bring your tractor for display on Saturday July 12 or Sunday July 13 from 8 am til 9 pm both days. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Fair we will feature anything from 1964. Then on Saturday July 19 we will break them out and play in front of the grandstand at 10 am.
