Farm Bureau will hold a discussion on Natural Gas Pipeline Easement Agreements with Guest Speaker Dale Arnold, OFBF Director of Energy, Utility & Local Government Policy.

When: Monday, April 22 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Where: Dave Grauer's Farm Shop - 1162 Ganges East Rd, Shiloh, OH 44878 ..........(IN GANGES, East from the birdhouse, but the mailing zip is Shiloh)

Farm Bureau has recently received several questions from farmers in Northern Richland County about proposed easements for utility service lines from natural gas vendors.  While most would agree the opportunities are positive, landowners need to be informed on issues that could have long term impacts on their property.

Questions on a wide range of issues--such as price per linear foot, tap fees, damage to woodlot and tile lines, construction ROW, and eminent domain will all be discussed.

Dale Arnold, with Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, will be on hand to facilitate the table top discussion and answer any questions. This event will be informal, and is being presented quickly to address the needs of the local farming community.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to the Richland County Farm Bureau via email, richland@ofbf.org or at 419-747-7488 by 2 p.m., Monday April 22 so we can better prepare for the discussion.
