Chef Rob Fighter began his cooking career in Mansfield where he rose up quickly through the ranks at several local establishments before moving to Columbus shortly after high school. After further developing his skills at several prominent hotels and restaurants Rob moved South to Orlando where he began his journey through several properties with Hyatt Hotels.

Following a formal Executive Chef's apprenticeship with ClubCorp in St. Louis, Rob was transferred back to Florida where he deepened his appreciation for Gulf Coast and Atlantic seafood and Southern cuisines. His passion for Cajun and Creole also grew and led him to their mecca, New Orleans. After nearly 15 years in the South, Rob returned home to the Mansfield area where he currently operates Mid Ohio Culinary Finesse, a unique Personal Chef and Event Services company serving individual and corporate clients primarily within 30-45 miles of Mansfield. Rob is also currently engaged as both the Executive Chef of the soon to relaunch Shelby Country Club as well as the Corporate Personal Chef for R.S Hanline & Co, also in Shelby.

Rob's diverse background, passion for delicious, creative cuisine and his persistent entrepreneurial drive have positioned him as one of the top chefs in the area. Due to the demand for his services, Rob has had to postpone the release of his first two cookbooks created while focusing on light and healthy styles and cuisines at R.S. Hanline. However, a portion of his long awaited line of sauces, rubs, seasonings and salsas will soon be featured at the Shelby Country Club prior to being made more widely available.

Rob is excited to return as one of this year's featured chefs.
