Teen Leadership in Action

The Teen Leaders in Action Workshop was created to provide an interactive "learn by doing" experience for teens.

This "learning by doing" experience for teens was designed with an emphasis on learning real-life, usable workforce preparation skills that will help teens be successful.

Objectives include:

  • Enhance skills in the areas of communication, professionalism, self-confidence and diversity
  • Understand the importance of a variety of leadership skills
  • Practice skills using interactive and engaging methods
  • Learn how skills learned will impact them as individuals and leaders


6:30pm - Registration

6:45 - Session 1 - Improving Your Communication Skills


8:00 - Session 2 - Putting Leadership into Practice

9:00 - Closing and Evaluation
