Scholarship Recipients Chosen

Easton VonHolle- $1000 winner. Easton is the son of Ronald and Victoria VonHolle from Morrow. Easton attends SinclairCommunity college and is majoring in Criminal Justice.  Easton has volunteer with Farm Bureau by working at the farmer share breakfast and the annual meeting. Easton helps raise chickens, rabbits, and cattle for 4-H projects. Congratulations Easton.

Dana Bullock-  Dana is the daughter of David and Jennifer Bullock of Lebanon. Dana will be attending Miami University and majoring in Business. Dana's plans are to achieve a business major and she is excited to incorporate her degree in to her family's farm. Dana has been involved with the county Farm Bureau's Farmer's Share Breakfast. Dana has worked with market goats, market hogs, market steers and feeder calves for 4-H.  Congratulations Dana.

Allie Steiner- Alllie is the daughter of Gene and Kim Steiner of Lebanon. Allie plans to attend Murray State University and major in Agriculture Education with hopes of being an Ag Teacher.  Allie has participated in 4-H for 10 years and been a counselor for 4 years. Allie spends time on her family farm doing multiple daily chores that include watering, feeding and checking on livestock as well as keeping up with her Jr. Projects. Congratulations Allie.

Seth Smrtnik- Seth is the son of Julie Smrtnik of Lebanon. Seth will be attending Wilmington College. Seth will be majoring in Agriculture with a concentration in business. His goal is to someday own and operate his own business within the agriculture field. Seth has been a Warren County 4-H member for four years. He has served on the junior fair board and was a camp counselor for 4 years. Seth has worked as a farm hand for the past 5 years. Congratulations Seth.

Evan Smrtnik- Evan is the son of Julie Smrtnik of Lebanon. Evan is a 3rd year student at Wright State University. Evan is pursuing his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Evan was a 4-H member for 14 years has been a 4-H adviser for 2 years. Evan also served as a camp counselor and was a junior fair board member and has helped with  the Farmers Share Breakfast and worked at the Warren county fair booth. Congratulations Evan.

Lyndsay Hagemeyer - Lyndsay is the daughter of Scott and Hagemeyer of Clarksville. Lyndsay will enter her senior year at University of Cincinnati. Lyndsay is pursuing her degree in Psychology, Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Her plan is to become a Doctor of Veterinary medicine and she would like to be a large animal and equine veterinarian. Lyndsay has participated in the Farmer Share Breakfast and the Farm Bureau booth at the Warren County Fair. Congratulations Lyndsay.

 

Fred Pursley Scholarship

Hannah Kirby - Hannah is the recipient of the Fred Pursley scholarship. Hannah is the daughter of Glen and Jennifer Kirby ofLebanonOhio. Hannah is a 3rd year student at The Ohio State University. Hannah is majoring in agribusiness and applied economics. Hannah's goals for the future is to strive for positions focusing on retail or wholesale management or along the lines of marketing and sales that have a strong influence in agriculture. Hannah was a 4-H club member for 11 years and a 4-H camp counselor for 4 years. Congratulations Hannah.
