A few days ago we blogged about Wesley J. Smith’s latest book, A Rat is a Pig is a Dog is a Boy: The Human Cost of the Animal Rights Movement. A Missouri firm named Food-Chain Communications recently sent out an interesting e-newsletter with four arguments against the animal rights movement, extracted from the book:
1. Animal rights is not about treating animals better
2. Animals can never possess rights
3. There’s nothing harmless about animal rightists–even the peace-loving ones
4. The threat isn’t confined only to those who “exploit animals”
