“One thing that I tell people when I go around talking about shale and introducing that to people, is that I think a lot of the reasons why what happened in Penn., some of the negative effects, won’t happen in Ohio is largely because of the Farm Bureau. That’s because the Farm Bureau, and Dale Arnold specifically, are going to these farm owners that are affected by shale and and making sure they get things like baseline testing done, that their leases are appropriately handled and contracts are appropriately negotiated, some things that I think didn’t go quite right in Pennsylvania."
