Hirsch re-elected Vice President of Ohio Farm Bureau Federation

CINCINNATI, Ohio (OFBF) – Steve Hirsch of Chillicothe was re-elected vice president of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF). It is his second term in the second highest elected office for Ohio's largest general farm organization. He also serves as District 15 trustee, representing Farm Bureau members in Fairfield, Hocking, Pickaway and Ross counties.
Hirsch is a long-time member of the Ross County Farm Bureau and was its president, county trustee and chairman of the safety, membership and government affairs committees. He also was involved with budget, audit, annual meeting and promotion and education committee work.
Hirsch earned a degree in business administration from the University of Dayton. Along with his father, brother and cousin, Hirsch grows apples, peaches, grapes, strawberries, raspberries and various other produce. They operate an on-farm retail market and a cider processing facility. Hirsch and his wife, Kimberly, are the parents of three children.
Hirsch's election took place during OFBF's 91st annual meeting held Dec. 2-4 in Cincinnati.
