Berk Named Farm Bureau Organization Director

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Steve Berk has been named organization director for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) in Clinton, Fayette, Greene and Warren counties.
As organization director, Berk will act as liaison between the county Farm Bureaus and OFBF. He will assist the county groups as they develop and implement programs to strengthen the organization and enhance its ability to serve its members.
Berk is a native of Licking County, Ohio and raised 4-H pigs, lambs and turkeys. He graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania where he was a member of the biological sciences honor society. Prior to joining Farm Bureau, he served 2 years in Paraguay as an agricultural extensionist for the U.S. Peace Corp.
According to Brian Peach, OFBF vice president for organization, “Steve will be a great asset for our members in his district. We’re glad to have him join our team.”
Ohio Farm Bureau is the state’s largest farm organization. Its mission is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers.
