Wuebker Elected to Farm Bureau Board

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Jeff Wuebker of Versailles has been elected District 14 trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF). He will represent Farm Bureau members from Champaign, Clark, Darke and Miami counties and will help govern the state’s largest general farm organization. He fills the seat held by Steve Hess, who retired after 15 years on the board.

Wuebker received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Ohio State University. He and his wife, Dena, farm with his brother and produce corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa and straw. They also run a contract sow operation and raise dairy steers. They are the parents of two children.

He is an 18 year member of Darke County Farm Bureau where he is a board member and has worked on livestock and environmental issues. He served on the American Farm Bureau soybean commodity committee. The Wuebkers were the 2005 OFBF Outstanding Young Farm Couple. In addition to his Farm Bureau activities, he is a member of the Ohio Pork Producers Council, Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association and Ohio Soybean Association. He also sits on the Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board.
