Knipp Re-elected to Ohio Farm Bureau Board of Trustees

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Daryl Knipp of Lindsey has been re-elected to the board of trustees for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF).

As the District 2 trustee, he represents Farm Bureau members from Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood counties.

Serving his third, three-year term, Knipp will help govern Ohio’s largest and most inclusive farm organization. Hehas been a Sandusky County Farm Bureau member for more than 36 years, having served as president and in a variety of other leadership roles. He also has served on the American Farm Bureau Labor Advisory Committee.

Knipp and his wife, Cate, farm near Lindsey where they produce cabbage and grain. He is the former chairman of the board at the farm cooperative Luckey Farmers, Inc. Knipp is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a board member for Memorial Hospital in Fremont. He has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Ohio State University.

Knipp was re-elected during the 94th annual meeting of OFBF, held Nov. 28-30 in Columbus. During the meeting, Farm Bureau delegates established policy on a variety of agricultural, environmental, economic and social issues.
