Wildman graduates from AgriPOWER Institute

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Sam Wildman of Columbus recently graduated from Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s (OFBF) AgriPOWER Institute. The intensive, yearlong leadership training program was launched in 2008 to help farmers and agricultural professionals gain influence over public policy issues that impact their businesses.


Ohio discussion meet finalists announced

Bailey Elchinger of Deshler, Kristen Clemson of Cortland, Kayla Hansel of Newark and Kayla Weaver of Upper Sandusky have been named the four state finalists in Ohio Farm Bureau’s 2013 Young Agricultural Professionals Discussion Meet. Hansel is unable to attend the finals; Brandi Fornshell of Washington Court House will replace her in the competition.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) has announced the winner of its 2013 Children’s Literature Award. The Guardian Team: On the Job with Rena and Roo by Cat Urbigkit was honored for its depiction of agriculture and contribution to American literature.


OFBF Case IH Discount Program Expands

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – The Case IH Tractor and Equipment Incentive Program for Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) members has been expanded and made easier to use. The program gives eligible Farm Bureau members discounts from $300 to $500 on select Case IH products.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Steve Hirsch of Chillicothe has been re-elected president of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF). He holds the highest elected office in the state’s largest and most inclusive farm organization. His election took place during the 94th annual meeting of Ohio Farm Bureau, held Nov. 28 – 30 in Columbus.
