COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Laura Wood of Forest, Ohio, is one of 22 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2009-2010 AgriPOWER program. She currently serves as the Ohio State University Extension program coordinator for 4-H youth development in Wyandot County, and is actively involved with her family’s grain farming operation

Wilson Selected to Participate in Intensive Agricultural Leadership Program

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Kerrick Wilson of Somerville, Ohio (Preble County) is one of 22 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2009-2010 AgriPOWER program. He has been involved in farming for more than 30 years. His current operation consists of grain, hay and livestock production. Additionally, for the past 15 years, he has been a crane/heavy equipment operator.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Neall Weber of Hilliard, Ohio, is one of 22 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2009-2010 AgriPOWER program. Neall is a full-time grain and hay farmer who serves on the Franklin County Farm Bureau board of trustees and the Franklin Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) board of directors.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Rebecca Vincent of East Canton, Ohio, is one of 22 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2009-2010 AgriPOWER program. She is employed by the Robert J. Matthews Company as animal health supplies sales representative. Additionally, her family owns and operates a cow/calf farming operation in Stark County.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Michael Videkovich of Ashville, Ohio (Pickaway County) is one of 22 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2009-2010 AgriPOWER program. He is employed by Noecker Farms LLC and is also a co-owner of a family farming operation that consists of corn, soybean, wheat, hay and oat production; a 200 head cow-calf herd and a feeder pig enterprise.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Cynthia Parker of Troy, Ohio, is one of 22 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2009-2010 AgriPOWER program. Cindy is a professional photographer who serves on the board of directors for the Miami Valley Steam Thrashers Society and Miami County Farm Bureau.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Roy Norman of Wauseon, Ohio, is one of 22 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2009-2010 AgriPOWER program.Roy serves as an organization director for OFBF, covering Fulton, Henry, Williams and Defiance counties, and has a farming operation that includes wheat, soybean and hay production along with a small cow/calf herd.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – J. L. Scott Metzger of Williamsport, Ohio (Pickaway County) is one of 22 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2009-2010 AgriPOWER program. Scott is a full-time farmer whose farming operation consists of corn, wheat and soybean production and backgrounding heifers. He is also involved with the family’s trucking business.
