Deaton is employed by Birchwood Genetics, Inc. as a sales and technical service representative.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Columbus resident Abra Dunn is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Dunn is employed by United Producers, Inc., a livestock marketing cooperative, as its marketing and communications specialist.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Chardon resident Brenda Hastings is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Hastings is in partnership with her husband, Lad, in their dairy farm, Hastings Dairy, LLC.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Botkins resident Aaron Heilers is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Heilers is employed by Miami Soil & Water Conservation District as a drainage technician. He also assists his father-in-law with his grain operation and is currently in the planning stages for a commercial vineyard.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Johnstown resident Rachel Heimerl is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Heimerl is employed by Heimerl Farms, Ltd. where she serves as the office manager and safety officer. The family farm consists of hogs, cattle, corn and soybeans.

Isler Selected to Participate in Intensive Agricultural Leadership Program

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Prospect resident Tracie Isler is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Isler is employed by Marion City Schools’ George Washington Elementary as a second grade teacher. The Islers’ family farm operation consists of a 650 sow farrow to finish hog operation and 2,500 acres of soybeans, corn and wheat.

Korb is an auctioneer, and he has a small sheep flock with an emphasis on club lamb production.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Hamler resident Nathan Like is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Like is employed by Mid-Wood, Inc. as an agronomy sales consultant/VRT specialist. In addition, his farming operation consists of cattle and grain.
