Heilers Selected to Participate in Intensive Agricultural Leadership Program

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Botkins resident Aaron Heilers is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Heilers is employed by Miami Soil & Water Conservation District as a drainage technician. He also assists his father-in-law with his grain operation and is currently in the planning stages for a commercial vineyard.

Heimerl Selected to Participate in Intensive Agricultural Leadership Program

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Johnstown resident Rachel Heimerl is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Heimerl is employed by Heimerl Farms, Ltd. where she serves as the office manager and safety officer. The family farm consists of hogs, cattle, corn and soybeans.

Isler Selected to Participate in Intensive Agricultural Leadership Program

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Prospect resident Tracie Isler is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Isler is employed by Marion City Schools’ George Washington Elementary as a second grade teacher. The Islers’ family farm operation consists of a 650 sow farrow to finish hog operation and 2,500 acres of soybeans, corn and wheat.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Oxford resident Andy Korb is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Korb is an auctioneer, and he has a small sheep flock with an emphasis on club lamb production.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Hamler resident Nathan Like is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Like is employed by Mid-Wood, Inc. as an agronomy sales consultant/VRT specialist. In addition, his farming operation consists of cattle and grain.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Farmersville resident Christy Montoya is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Montoya is employed by Ohio Farm Bureau Federation as an organization director. Christy, her husband and sons also have a meat goat herd and general farming operation.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Brooklyn Heights resident Kim Rassi is one of 20 farmers and agribusiness professionals selected by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) to participate in the 2010-2011 AgriPOWER program. Rassi is the owner and operator of Vintage Alpacas, a breeding farm for show quality alpacas.
