Bill Waddle of Springfield was elected District 14 trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) Dec. 12 during the group’s annual meeting. This is his first three-year term. As a trustee, he will help govern the state’s largest general farm organization and represent Farm Bureau members from Champaign, Clark, Darke and Miami counties.
Ohio Farm Bureau delegates took action to address water quality, taxes and agriculture’s prominence at Ohio State University during the group’s 96th annual meeting. Other policy issues included combating rural drugs and dealing with Ohio energy issues. They also voted on a new membership structure.
Karin Bright of Athens has been elected District 22 trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. She takes the unexpired term of Joyce Payne of Waterloo, who retired after eight years on the board. Bright’s election took place during the 96th annual meeting of Ohio Farm Bureau Dec. 10-12.
Allen Miller of Marietta was re-elected Dec. 12 to the board of trustees for Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) during the group’s 96th annual meeting. During his third three-year term, he will represent members from Belmont, Monroe, Noble and Washington counties. He will serve his third three-year term helping govern Ohio’s largest general farm organization and represent Farm Bureau members from District 17 in Belmont, Monroe, Noble and Washington counties.
Patty DeBruin of Millersport was re-elected as a Trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) Dec. 12. This will be her fourth three-year term as the representative of Farm Bureau members in 24 Ohio counties. She was re-elected during OFBF’s annual meeting in Columbus.
Nathan and Jennifer Brown of Hillsboro were recently elected chairs of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) Young Agricultural Professional Advisory Team. Brad Heimerl of Johnstown was elected co-chair. Liz Funderburgh of North Lewisburg was elected secretary.
Roger Baker of Wooster has been re-elected District 8 trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF). During his second three-year term, he will represent Farm Bureau members from Ashland, Medina, Summit and Wayne counties. He was re-elected Dec. 12 during OFBF’s 96th annual meeting.
Katherine Harrison of Canal Winchester was re-elected District 11 trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation Dec. 12 during the group's 96th annual meeting. During her second three-year term, she will represent Farm Bureau members from Delaware, Franklin, Madison and Union counties.
Lane Osswald of Eldorado was re-elected District 18 trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) Dec. 12 during the group’s annual meeting. This is his second three-year term. As a trustee, he will represent Farm Bureau members from Butler, Hamilton, Montgomery and Preble counties.
