"Green Up your Classroom" is the theme of this year's E.A.R.T.H. Workshop.  Hosted by the Seneca Soil & Water Conservation District, the two- day workshop offers graduate credit and will be packed full of hands-on sessions and field trips to four different kinds of energy production facilities. Workshop registration is $45 and is open to any educator any where.The registration deadline is June 7.

Teachers can choose sessions in three tracts: PreK-5, 6-12, or K-12, based on grade level needs; or choose across tracts based on interests.  Session topics include biodiversity, school gardens, geology, energy sources, organic and modern agriculture, conserving electricity, "green" cars and more. Each session is presented by a different professional with tons of ideas and knowledge to share.  OFBF Education Specialist Judy Roush will lead a session regarding the Crop Connectors: Growing Carrots in Ohio educational kit. Ashland University will be offering 1 credit hour (at an additional expense and assignment completion) and teachers will receive 15 contact hours for attending.
