Ohio Farm Bureau members are invited to attend the 93nd American Farm Bureau annual meeting. Members will be staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, located on Waikiki beach and a 10 minute walk from the convention center. The annual meeting meeting registration fee is $100.

In addition to policy discussion and approval, the meeting will feature young farmer awards, Distinguished Service Awards, state Farm Bureau program and membership awards, the President's Address from Bob Stallman, a county presidents luncheon, educational seminars and a special reception for Ohio attendees Sunday at the Hilton.

Keynote speaker is Dave Barry. He is a 25-year journalism veteran and best known for his syndicated work that appeared in more than 500 newspapers in the United States and abroad. In 1988 he won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary.

Special post-convention tour Jan. 11 to 16, 2012

Ohio Farm Bureau is hosting a five-day post convention tour that offers two days on the Big Island and three days on Maui. Activities include a stop at the Volcano National Park, a Circle Island Tour of the Big Island, the Drums of the Pacific Luau, and a sunset dinner cruise. Optional activities include a whale watching and the Atlantis Submarine Experience. This post-convention tour includes airport transfers and hotel for $1, 425 per person.
