The program will teach farmers Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) to use at their farm businesses.  Trained educators will share details on keeping produce safe, training family members/employees on the issue and getting ready for potential audits from businesses you sell to. 

Farm businesses participating in this program will learn about foodborne illness; How contamination can occur; water and soil safety; good handling practices and more.

This program is in cooperation with the Ohio Produce Marketing Agreement and funded through the Ohio Department of Agriculture.  Cost is $10.
