It doesn’t matter who you are, or what you do, there’s one thing that unites us – food. Everyone wants a sustainable, safe food supply. So where do farmers and nonfarmers meet to share information? How do we bridge the knowledge gap, or deal with false science from nutrition gurus? We listen, we learn and we gather around the table.

Susan Crowell, editor, Farm and Dairy newspaper, will discuss, “Grab a seat at the table: We’re all in the food business,” at the monthly Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum.

Farm and Dairy has been at the forefront of agricultural reporting for more than 100 years, and Crowell has led the company’s move into the digital and social media worlds as well as strengthening its print legacy. In her role as editor, Crowell has gained insight into a multitude ofrural, environmental and agricultural issues, and she says more than ever, people are interested in knowing where their food comes from.

Arrive early, as breakfast and informal networking will start at 8 a.m., with the program to follow.

The cost is just $10 per person (cash or check at the door) which includes breakfast and networking opportunities.

The Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum is an educational networking opportunity to provide information on current issues, trends and programs available to the agricultural community and those who support its advancement.

Walk-ins are welcome, but guests are encouraged to reserve a seat in advance by contacting [email protected].
