Ohio Farm and Country strives to educate its viewers on a wide array of issues that impact everyone, but especially those who live and work in rural Ohio. The June show will take a closer look at Gov. Ted Strickland’s education package, which he introduced at his State of the State address in January. The original plan has seen some changes as it passes through the legislature. Viewers will hear from experts on this topic, plus learn more of the impact this package could have on rural schools and programs such as agricultural education and the FFA.

Ohio Farm and Country will discuss the challenges many rural hospitals and other health care agencies face and legislative actions currently being proposed to help meet some of these challenges.
