The July Ohio Farm and Country will feature a segment on how technology and research in the soybean seed industry has advanced over the years, and what might be on the horizon. The show will also take a look at the livestock industry in Ohio; why we use certain practices such as confinement facilities, what is the difference between animal rights and animal welfare and how the livestock industry benefits the environment. July’s episode will be the final airing for Ohio Farm and Country. OFBF will continue to produce video that helps tell agriculture’s story, but we’ll be moving distribution to the world of social media.Ohio Farm and Country started airing as part of the Farm Bureau Today segment on RFD-TV in November 2005 and aired six times per year.
