Participants will have the opportunity to attend specialized learning tracks on general leadership, developing board members, technology, and current food and farm issues. Deadline to register is Nov. 27. Policy development begins at annual meeting Dec. 5. Delegates will develop the organizationís positions on farm and rural issues and are expected to take action on a variety subjects as they establish the official positions for the stateís largest farm organization. One of the major subjects to be debated is discussion of tax policy that will ask delegates to rank their preferences for types of taxes. Delegates will also discuss possible components of a fertilizer applicator certification program, should one be established.
