America’s pork and dairy producers have lost much of their equity over the last year. With a wave of restructuring and forced herd sales expected over the next few months, the American Farm Bureau Federation asked President Obama to initiate and continue several national measures to provide relief.

The agricultural lending cooperative Farm Credit Services is giving $100,000 to support two initiatives that aim to advance Ohio’s livestock community.
The Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) has announced its 42nd consecutive year of membership growth reaching a record 235,064 members. OFBF membership grew a total 1,003 members over 2008.

Does Issue 2 fit in Ohio's Constitution?
Simply put, the answer is "Yes."
Health insurance costs are an ongoing and significant expense for farmers and ranchers and must be reduced so that they do not burden farm and ranch businesses with costs they cannot afford, American Farm Bureau Federation President Bob Stallman told members of the Senate Finance Committee.
