Four Ohioans who have committed their lives to working in, promoting and advocating for Ohioís farm and agribusiness community will be honored Aug. 2 by the Ohio Agricultural Council, when they are inducted into the Ohio Agricultural Hall of Fame.

Ohio agencies launch Ohio Clean Lakes Initiative

Three state agencies have jointly launched the Ohio Clean Lakes Initiative, a program geared to improve water quality and reduce harmful algal blooms across Ohio, with emphasis in the Western Basin of Lake Erie. As part of a joint press conference between the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio Department of Agriculture and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, the directors of each spoke about the initiative.
