Third-graders win trip to Ohio egg farm

Union County's North Union Elementary third graders visited New Day Farms in Raymond, Tuesday, on an all expense paid field trip. North Union student Emma Crusey won the field trip for her classmates when she wrote one of the winning essays in Ohio Livestock Coalition’s essay contest.

This advisory group is thinking through Farm Bureau's membership model

At Ohio Farm Bureau’s 2013 annual meeting, members called for the establishment of a study group that includes 22 county leaders who would analyze and make recommendations on a new membership model for the organization to ensure its future strength.
