Participants in AgriPOWER Class VI recently spent a few days in Wooster for their second session in the program. They spent three days learning about social media, media relations, visual media, and telling their story as well as touring the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center and several other farms in the area. Ohio Farm Bureau Federationís (OFBF) AgriPOWER Institute Class V met at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) in Wooster in August for three days of training workshops and farm tours during the second session of the year-long leadership program.
AgriPOWER Class VI graduation has come and gone. Itís hard to believe it has been nine months. We began this journey as 19 strangers with a passion for agriculture and personal development, and came out as 19 friends with a greater understanding of each other and the industry in which we all are connected. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this program. I have grown as a person, an agriculturalist and a leader. All attributes that will be helpful for the future of our industry and my family.
