Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation (Foundation) is inviting community service groups in rural, suburban and/or urban settings, as well as independent producers and agribusinesses, to apply for a series of grants to fund programs highlighting agriculture and its impact on the community.
Health insurance costs are an ongoing and significant expense for farmers and ranchers and must be reduced so that they do not burden farm and ranch businesses with costs they cannot afford, American Farm Bureau Federation President Bob Stallman told members of the Senate Finance Committee.

They don't walk the barns every day. They don't balance the farm books. They don't feed the world. But they are going to tell you how to do it. And that's why you need to vote "Yes" on Issue 2. Without it, emotionally-driven regulations loom over all farmers.
Anticipation that has gripped Ohio’s farm community for months recently culminated in a conference room when a dairy farmer took the microphone, stood up among 600 of his peers and declared, “We are going to win this. We are going to win.”
