The National Association of Wheat Growers announced its choices for the 2012 Wheat Advocate Award, an award given annually to members of Congress who have demonstrated support for the wheat industry above and beyond the norm. Two of the recipients of the award are Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown and Rep. Bob Gibbs.
Brown County Farm Bureau has received a $500 mini-grant from the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture and the AFB Women’s Leadership Committee.
