Ohio experts discuss drought

This weekend, Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s Town Hall Ohio radio show will feature several experts who will discuss drought preparedness.

This week the House Agriculture Committee passed the 2012 Farm Bill by a vote of 35-11. At this time it is not known when or if the Farm Bill will be taken up by the entire House for consideration. Ohio Farm Bureau will continue to push for passage before the September expiration of the 2008 Farm Bill.
Ohio Farm Bureau is monitoring and sharing the latest resources for members to stay up to date on drought conditions, decision-making options, expert analysis and more. OFBF also wants to hear Ohio farmers share their stories and give them access to network as dry conditions continue.
