While county Farm Bureau volunteers were busy gearing up for the Issue 2 campaign and the next year of programming, the 2009 Leadership Conference was also a time to recognize outstanding achievements over the past year.

They don't walk the barns every day. They don't balance the farm books. They don't feed the world. But they are going to tell you how to do it. And that's why you need to vote "Yes" on Issue 2. Without it, emotionally-driven regulations loom over all farmers.
Anticipation that has gripped Ohio’s farm community for months recently culminated in a conference room when a dairy farmer took the microphone, stood up among 600 of his peers and declared, “We are going to win this. We are going to win.”
