Farmers and ranchers in the North Central Region are invited to submit grant proposals to explore sustainable agriculture solutions to problems on the farm or ranch. The 2013 North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (NCR-SARE) Farmer Rancher Grant Proposals are due Nov. 29 at 4:30 p.m. at the NCR-SARE office in Saint Paul, MN.

Twenty-nine counties have attained Pacesetter status, setting the stage for them to achieve membership gain by the end of the campaign year. The Pacesetter award is for counties that had at least 93 percent of active farmer membership by March 31.
