Provisions for the April 1 deadlineFSA has agreed to put a system in place to address the scheduling concerns regarding the April 1 deadline. If a countyÂ’s appointment schedule is full until April 1, county FSA offices may schedule producers for appointments past April 1 and their names are placed on a register to allow them to make their base and yield elections without the default option going into effect. Producers must however, contact the office BEFORE April 1 to schedule their appointment or the default option will go into effect. | |
