Brown will update Ohioans on Farm Bill negotiations at OSU on Friday. Senators To Update Ohio Farmers On Critical Negotiations Of Farm Bill, Take Questions On Needs Of Ohio’s Agriculture Sector

Columbus, Ohio – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) will host a Farm Bill Forum in Ohio with Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Tom Harkin (D-IA) on Friday, February 29, at The Ohio State University. Brown and Harkin will be joined by Dr. Bobby Moser, dean of The Ohio State University, College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences, and leaders of farm and agricultural organizations from across Ohio.

The Senators will discuss the farm bill negotiations, which have reached a critical point between the Senate, House of Representatives, and the White House.

As Ohio’s first Senator to serve on the Agriculture Committee in more than 40 years, Brown is hosting this forum to give Ohio’s agricultural leaders an opportunity to receive an update on the status of negotiations and to provide feedback on priorities for Ohio agriculture.
