Jeremy and Michelle Evans

Jeremy and Michelle Evans live in Dover in Tuscarawas County. They have been married for two years. Jeremy is a 5th grade teacher at Jackson Local Schools in Stark County and Michelle is a substitute teacher and an infant, toddler and preschool instructor for Tuscarawas County Even Start.

When they are not teaching they are helping on Jeremy’s family's farm where they have a small commercial cow/calf and club calf operation. The farm also contract feeds dairy heifers for a local dairy farm. They also have two horses and a dog. Jeremy enjoys working with his cows while Michelle enjoys the horses.

They are both active in the Tuscarawas County 4-H Program where they are 4-H advisers. Michelle is on the 4-H Committee and helps with the horse program and Jeremy is Vice President of the 4-H Committee and Treasurer of the Market Livestock Committee; he also serves on the Extension Advisory Committee. Jeremy is on the Tuscarawas County Cattlemen’s board of directors.

They are also both active in the Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau where they are the youth council advisers and serve on the Communications Action Team.
