Who we are:
Pre-teens and teens in our Youth Program can make friends, have fun, and hone their leadership and decision-making skills so that they can become the leaders of tomorrow.

What we do:
Teens develop superior teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills by participating in county activities, meetings, and conferences. Youth can attend and help lead sessions at county, regional, and even national levels.

Leadership opportunities:
Leadership opportunities abound through many activities and events, including “Spotlight on Safety” projects, community and service projects, committee roles, and other local, regional, and statewide activities.

Annual events, awards and conferences:
Annual Meeting Youth Session – Meet youths from other regions, participate in fun activities, and receive awards for outstanding Youth Council activities.

Fall and Spring Regional Activities – Learn teamwork through educational and recreational activities while you renew old friendships and make new ones.

Outstanding Youth Council – Award recognition of top councils in each region.

Summer Leadership Development Conferences – Develop an understanding of the Farm Bureau organization, the cooperative ways of doing business, and the legislative process through a learn-by-doing week on a college campus.

State Fair – Help out with youth exhibits and participate in Friday evening square dances.
